We had the most wonderful weekend. Conference was so great! A particular talk was given on tithing and tho I had heard talks similar to it before this one touched me deeply. How I love our general authorities in the church. It was sooo difficult to not see President Hinckley. Things will never be the same without him. What a wonderful legacy Hinckley left us and I pray for Prophet Monson...how over whelming it must feel to fill that spiritual giant's little shoes :). I felt the spirit so strongly and I know that Monson will make a wonderful prophet and that we have much to learn from him.
*Sigh* I am not sure why but the drive to Houston really took it out of me this weekend. I am not sure that I can make that drive as often as we have been. My back is giving me a lot of problems again, as well as the fact the Kale doesn't seem to get any sleep away from home. I am glad to be back in San Antonio, Kale slept like a dream last night!
As for our "not so fun" Monday...Kale is getting his last shots until he is 4 today :( It is just the worst feeling letting those doctors poke at him that way! AND I wont be will him this time because I have an OBGYN apt the same time...so it is up to Daddy to take him. Poor Matt said he thought and prayed about it all last night! What a sweet spirit he is and such a good father!
How I love my little family!

I am so glad that I have found your blog! I have one as well, it is stilllearningkb.blogspot.com. I didn't realize you were struggling with tithing - probably because I get to see you every blue moon, I hope one comes soon! I think that if you can hold on to the words the Spirit spoke in the Bishop's office and from the talk at conference that you will be fortified and strengthened - a strong testimony comes after the trail of our faith - right? I love ya, Kathie
